I set the link to active and the MAC of the pfSense shows up. My switch and the pfSense tell me the link is up and running I guess (pfSense .... : As MAC session uses network broadcasts and is not 100% reliable ... Winbox without problems IF the master password is not set for it..
If I left my switch up 24/7, this wouldn't be a problem, but since I don't, I need keep things consistent. The MikroTik wiki mentions two .... It works just like IP telnet. MAC telnet is possible between two MikroTik RouterOS routers only.
